So, here’s the thing. Although TCU has an awesome football program, our basketball team has not lived up to the same standards of late.

But, here’s the next thing. This season, the team is really trying to get us all fired up about the season, so there have been so many incentives to go to games. First, they gave us all free replica jerseys. Then, they gave us free catered breakfast before a game. And to top it all off, the top 3 students that go to the most games get some awesome prizes.

Well, this is all fine and dandy, but why am I telling you about this?

Thanks for asking; I’ll tell you now. The games are so much fun to go to! I would even contend that this season, with the seemingly subpar home games for football, the basketball games are more fun to go to. While the DMC definitely isn’t Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke, the student section can get a little crazy. Just ask the kid on Texas Tech who students heckled for resembling Justin Bieber. We made the front of Yahoo! News for that! Legit, right? I know!

Anyways, I just thought that I should drop a knowledge bomb on all of y’all.

On another note, I just finished my last finals, meaning that my first semester of college is over. It’s sort of a weird feeling. I have yet to return home, so I think that will be an even weirder experience. But to think, with all the relationships I have established here, it’s crazy that none of these people existed to me just 5 months ago. Not to get philosophical, but there are actually other people in the world, with their own lives that are progressing just like yours. But you know nothing about them.

Well, my brain feels sort of like mush after this week, so I should stop thinking so hard. Merry Christmas everybody!
