When we looked at universities as prospective students, we wanted candid, uncensored information about student life. Unless we visited campus, that information was hard to find. So, we’ve designed this site for you.
INSIDE JVR is a blogazine designed to help prospective and admitted students learn about life at TCU and in the John V. Roach Honors College (BTW, we affectionately call it the JVR!). We will document student life through candid, uncensored writings and videos. Our intent is to provide a picture of life that moves beyond the brochure.
Will this be accurate and up-to-date? Yes . . . at least to the best of our ability!
We’ve all agreed to follow a protocol that requires respect for TCU and our colleagues; we also desire to be authentic. You will hear about how we love TCU and the JVR. You’ll probably see a lot of purple! At the same time, we will share the difficulties of finals week or challenging classes.
Currently, INSIDE JVR will feature approximately 20 bloggers, some vloggers, and multiple links regarding TCU and the JVR. We hope you enjoy INISDE JVR and learn more about TCU from our point-of-view.
