JIMMY S.

Hometown: Sarasota, Florida

Major: Business

What I want to do with my major: I’ll probably specify in Supply and Value Chain Management and Entrepreneurial Management. Most people don’t know what that means.

Campus involvement: Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity, VP of Milton Daniel Hall Council, Frog Aides, Younglife, Ignite

Why I chose TCU: My top two choices didn’t work out, so I toured TCU and it was love at first sight…or first walk around.

Why I’m glad I joined the JVR: Honors is awesome. Like, have you ever gone to one of your best friends rooms to do different homework assignments? Did I mention that your best friend lives downstairs? Not to mention, getting to register early takes a lot of the stress out of signing up for classes.

Favorite Honors class: I took Honors Lit. and Civilizations 1 this semester, which was good. But, I’m really excited for Lit and Civ. 2 and Honors Business Info. Systems in Spring 2012!

Favorite place on TCU’s Campus: Milton Daniel Hall. Hands down, living in Milton is the best experience ever.

Favorite JVR memory: As a freshman, getting to live in Milton just provides a year’s worth (well, only a semester’s worth, so far) of awesome memories. My favorite would be having no worries registering for Spring semester classes after registering at orientation was stressful. #AWESOMEperks

Coolest TCU experience: I was taken to the “secret spot” where Andy Dalton proposed to his girlfriend. But shhhh…it’s a secret.

Favorite TV show and why: Anything on the Food Network, because who doesn’t love to be tempted by world famous chefs?

Three unusual things about myself: I have a scruffy ginger beard, but don’t have ginger hair. I have a Toy Story playbook (play mat included) in my dorm room. If I could watch the movie Elf every day of my life…well, I would.
