Major: Writing
What I want to do with my major: Write. Anything and everything, it’s that simple.
Campus involvement: Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Diamond Darlings
Why I chose TCU: I always wanted to go West Coast for school, but when I came out and toured TCU I fell in love. I connected with my Southern roots and now have no desire to ever go back.
Why I’m glad I joined the JVR: The Honors college gave me a group of people who have similar priorities and interests as me. It’s a group on campus where I know I’m always welcome, and I’ve met some amazing people through it.
Favorite Honors class: Last semester I took Survey of Musical Theater and it was by far my favorite class of the year. It was so interesting, and our Honors section grew very close and had a lot of fun.
Favorite place on TCU’s Campus: Sadler Lawn, because it’s where the beauty of TCU really shines. (Writing major
)
Favorite JVR memory: Breakfast during Finals week. It was the end of the semester so I didn’t have to worry about buying food or where I was going to eat while I did last minute studying.
Coolest TCU or JVR experience: I sat on a longhorn in the middle of the Commons…how country can you get?
Favorite TV show and why: Hands down Lost. It’s the most complicated, messed up, twisted, addicting show and my life has been half empty ever since it went off air.
Three unusual things about myself:
I went skydiving for my birthday last year.
I have an unhealthy obsession with Parmesan Goldfish.
I have been playing the piano since I was 5.
