Hometown: Houston, Texas
Major: Political Science and Strategic Communication
What I want to do with my major: Consult for political think tanks.
Campus involvement: Frog Camp Director, Student Government, Interfraternity Council, Student Foundation.
Why I chose TCU: I wanted a university with a “big school” atmosphere but the personalized attention and unique intellectual pursuits of a small liberal arts college. Plus, everyone looks good in purple.
Why I’m glad I joined the JVR: In JVR I’ve made close friends that don’t leave learning and discussion behind in the classroom. The Honors college is a tight knit community of students that push each other to think beyond what we’ve previous known.
Favorite place on TCU’s Campus: The honors college Neal living room during finals week, (yumm free breakfast!)
Favorite JVR memory: Learning to appreciate a book you swore to hate till the day you die, (and then recommend it to other people!)
Coolest TCU or JVR experience: When College GameDay came to campus!
Favorite TV show and why: 30 Rock, because there ain’t no party like a Liz Lemon party cause a Liz Lemon party is mandatory.
Three unusual things about myself:
- I am lactose intolerant.
- I’m a classic movie nut.
- My idea of a great dessert is sweet tea from Chick-fil-a.
