Honors Undergraduate Researcher Aims to Help Children with Learning Disabilities
Andrea Salazar is an international student from Nicaragua and a scholar in the John V. Roach Honors College, Salazar is a senior majoring in speech-language pathology in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences and minoring in child development, a cross-discipline minor housed in the College of Science & Engineering. A recipient of an Honors Undergraduate Research Grant, she is exploring effective interventions for bilingual students with learning disabilities.

Honors Student Brings Improvisation Into Research
Grant Lattanzi came to TCU with aspirations of an acting career. However, after his experience conducting an independent research project, his dream changed course. “My career trajectory has completely changed from career actor to aspiring professor,” he said.

Honors Student Sticks the Landing with TCU Gymnastics
Honors student and speech-language pathology major Abbie Moore has been involved in gymnastics her whole life. She started competing when she was only 9 years old and, as a freshman, joined a fledgling TCU Gymnastics Club as a way to meet others who shared her passion for the sport.

The John V. Roach Honors College enthusiastically welcomes new academic advisor Jess Price to the Honors team! Price joins Honors from TCU’s Center for Instructional Services (CIS), where he worked for fifteen years, most recently serving as Manager of IT Video Conferencing.
