The Face Behind the Mask: Roach Honors College Graduate Shares Experience as SuperFrog
For Dominic Minatel ’25 commencement weekend was not only a celebration of his accomplishments, it was a long-awaited reveal. Walking the stage as an Honors Laureate from the John V. Roach Honors College and earning his degrees in religion from the AddRan College of Liberal Arts and communication studies from the Bob Schieffer College of Communication, he disclosed to a packed Schollmaier Arena that he is also known as SuperFrog.

Each year, the Fort Worth Business Press presents its Corporate Philanthropy Awards, which honor community-minded companies and individuals who are philanthropic leaders in their organizations and communities. This year’s award recipients included a familiar face – Assistant Dean, J. Vaughn & Evelyne H. Wilson Honors Fellow, Director of Prestigious Scholarships, and Honors Professor Ron Pitcock.

Honors Student Sticks the Landing with TCU Gymnastics
Honors student and speech-language pathology major Abbie Moore has been involved in gymnastics her whole life. She started competing when she was only 9 years old and, as a freshman, joined a fledgling TCU Gymnastics Club as a way to meet others who shared her passion for the sport.

Three Graduating Honors Students Earn Fulbright Scholarship
In the 2018-2019 school year, TCU had eight Honors students and alumni named as semi-finalists in the Fulbright Scholar Program. The John V. Roach Honors College is excited and proud to announce that three graduating seniors have earned the distinction of Fulbright Scholar.
Honors Welcomes New Academic Advisor
The John V. Roach Honors College enthusiastically welcomes new academic advisor Jess Price to the Honors team! Price joins Honors from TCU’s Center for Instructional Services (CIS), where he worked for fifteen years, most recently serving as Manager of IT Video Conferencing.
