Current TCU and Transfer Students Can Join Honors
Current & Transfer Student Criteria
- Complete a minimum of 12 graded hours at TCU
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at TCU
- Applicants need to have a minimum of two or more semesters remaining before graduation after being admitted to the Honors College.
Spring 2024 (to enter in Fall 2024) Information
Beginning Friday, February 9, 2024, students will have access to the application link on the Honors website, which consists of two essay questions. The application will close on Friday, March 8, 2024. No late applications will be accepted for any reason.
Students interested in joining the Honors College are highly encouraged to attend one of the Honors Interest Sessions. During these sessions, students will learn about the expectations and curriculum of the Honors College. This information will help students think about how Honors might fit into their degree plan. If accepted to the Honors College, students will be required to enroll in an Honors course for the fall 2024 term. Please see the complete timeline below.
Attending one of the in-person sessions is highly recommended for all interested students. If you would like to attend a session but these conflict with your class schedule, please email Honors@tcu.edu.

| Friday, March 8, 2024 | Honors applications due by 11:59 PM. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason. |
| Friday, May 24, 2024 | Admission decisions sent to students. |
| Thursday, May 30, 2024 | Deadline for admitted, current students to accept Honors invitation. |
| Monday, June 3, 2024 | Deadline for admitted, current students to enroll in an Honors course for fall 2024. |
| Monday, August 26 - Friday, September 13, 2024 |
All accepted students must make an appointment with their Honors academic advisor during this period. |
